Angry Birds Rio is a paid title on the iOS platform, with a free trial version available. It costs $1 for the iPhone or iPod touch, and $3 for the iPad. On Google Android Market, Angry Birds Rio is available as a free download, as well as in Amazon’s app store for Android, where the game was originally an exclusive on March 14. The Amazon app store is only available in the U.S. at the moment.
Angry Birds Rio sees the Angry Birds characters kidnapped and taken to Rio de Janeiro. The gameplay revolves around saving other captured birds. The game has 45 levels, but Rovio says more levels will be added via app updates.
